Overview
Tasbeeh Digital Prayer Counter ("the App") is developed and operated by Jazallab. We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it.
By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
Information We Collect
Account information
When you create an account we collect the email address and password you provide. Passwords are never stored in plain text — they are hashed and managed securely by Supabase, our backend provider.
Prayer and dhikr data
If you are signed in, the App stores your dhikr (remembrance) counts and session history in your account. This data is used solely to sync your progress across devices and display your personal statistics. We do not sell or share this data.
Purchase information
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. RevenueCat, our purchase management provider, receives anonymised purchase receipts and a random device identifier to validate transactions. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
Usage data
We may collect anonymised analytics (e.g. which features are used, crash reports) to improve the App. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account
- To sync your dhikr history and statistics across devices
- To validate in-app purchases and unlock features
- To send transactional emails (e.g. password reset) — no marketing emails
- To fix bugs and improve App performance
Third-Party Services
The App integrates the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy.
Supabase — Backend database and authentication.
Data stored: email address, hashed password, dhikr count data.

Apple App Store — Payment processing.
All payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive card or billing details.

Data Retention
Your account data is retained for as long as your account exists. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it promptly.
Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS) and secure password hashing. While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict processing of your data
- Export your data in a portable format
